I’m Kate Lindsey, a tattoo artist at Skin City Tattoo & Body Piercing in Tigard, Oregon. I specialize in black and grey realism and fine-line illustrative tattoos that blend soft contrast with intentional composition. My work often features florals, natural textures, and bold symbolism—pieces that look delicate yet strong. I strive to make each tattoo feel timeless, tailored to the body, and deeply personal to the wearer.
Kate Lindsey – Black & Grey Realism & Fine-Line Tattoo Artist
-
I began my tattooing career at Skin City as an apprentice in 2014 after earning my bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. My training in charcoal and graphite drawing shaped how I approach tone, texture, and shading in tattooing. I officially earned my tattoo license in 2018 and have been building my portfolio here ever since.
-
My work is rooted in black and grey realism, often combined with fine-line illustration. I’m drawn to natural subjects—florals, animals, and narrative symbolism—and I love exploring how soft realism and high-contrast shading interact to create dimension and flow.
-
At Skin City, I work in a professional, relaxed environment focused on comfort and communication. Whether it’s a spontaneous flash design or a custom project, clients can expect attention to detail, clean technique, and a calm, friendly atmosphere.
