Nikk Lindsey – Japanese-Inspired, Fine-Line & Neo-Traditional Tattoo Artist
Hey, I’m Nikk, a tattoo artist at Skin City Tattoo & Body Piercing in Tigard, Oregon.
My style blends Japanese-inspired design, fine-line detail, and neo-traditional composition to create tattoos that are bold, fluid, and built to last.
I started tattooing in 2020, and since then I’ve focused on combining precision linework with classic Japanese flow — working with subjects like dragons, koi, tigers, and floral motifs, as well as custom illustrative pieces.
Whether it’s a large-scale Japanese project or a small fine-line tattoo, I aim to make every piece clean, readable, and full of life.
About Nikk
-
I’ve always been drawn to the art of storytelling through line and form. Tattooing lets me bring that storytelling to life on skin — a mix of control, creativity, and trust between artist and client.
-
I specialize in Japanese-inspired, fine-line, and neo-traditional tattoos, focusing on smooth composition and timeless imagery. My work often combines the structure of traditional Japanese art with the precision of fine-line detailing.
-
Each tattoo starts with conversation and concept. I study how the piece flows with the body and refine every detail to make the tattoo look powerful and cohesive.
-
I draw inspiration from Japanese folklore, anime, and nature, along with classic tattoo masters known for bold, balanced design.
